Approval of construction of route from Tuyen Quang City Center to My Lam Mineral Spring Tourist Area

A project of VinGroup corporation implemented in My Lam ward, Tuyen Quang city.

Accordingly, the project to invest in building a road from Tuyen Quang city center to My Lam mineral spring tourist area will be funded by the Korean Government; the managing unit is the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province; the investor is the Coordination Board of foreign capital projects of Tuyen Quang province.

The purpose of the project is to build a new road about 7.6 km long, with a design speed of 50 km/h, including the main road and branch roads, to develop a synchronous traffic infrastructure system to serve the traffic needs and tourism development of Tuyen Quang province. The construction site is in Kim Phu commune and My Lam ward, Tuyen Quang city, Tuyen Quang province.

After completion, 3 new urban areas will be formed and developed, expanding Tuyen Quang city to the West, contributing to Tuyen Quang city completing the criteria of a type II urban area towards a smart city and a type I urban area by 2030.

The project implementation period is 4 years from the effective date of the loan agreement. The total investment and capital structure is 996,867 million VND, equivalent to 41.677 million USD. Of which, ODA capital is 776,383 million VND (of which, the central budget allocates 543,468 million VND, Tuyen Quang province re-borrows 232,915 million VND), equivalent to 32.459 million USD. The counterpart capital is 220,483 million VND, equivalent to 9.218 million USD. According to the US dollar exchange rate in January 2024.

The project will contribute to the synchronous and modern development of infrastructure, meeting the increasing demand for transportation; connecting with key economic areas inside and outside the province; leading and activating private sector investment to exploit the maximum potential of My Lam Mineral Spring Tourist Area, contributing to promoting the economic and tourism development of Tuyen Quang province.

If the Resolution is clear, the Provincial People's Committee shall organize the implementation of this Resolution in accordance with the provisions of law. The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Committees of the Provincial People's Council, the Delegation Groups and the Provincial People's Council delegates shall supervise the implementation of this Resolution.

This Resolution takes effect from the date of approval by the People's Council of Tuyen Quang province, 19th term, 10th thematic session on November 14, 2024.
