On March 12, information from the People's Committee of Thai Binh province said that Chairman of the People's Committee Nguyen Khac Than had just issued a document criticizing Director of the Department of Health Pham Quang Hoa for being slow in implementing assigned work.
According to this document, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Thai Binh province regularly pay attention to leading and directing the health sector to comprehensively implement health tasks, meeting the increasingly high and diverse demands of people in the province as well as neighboring localities.
On November 18, 2023, Thai Binh province worked with the working delegation of the Ministry of Health and signed a cooperation agreement with Bach Mai Hospital.
On November 28, 2023, the province issued an official dispatch assigning the Director of the Department of Health to urgently advise on implementing the direction of the Minister of Health and provincial leaders.
"However, up to now, the Department of Health has not issued a document implementing the conclusion of the Minister of Health, has not proactively and actively implemented the directive documents of the central government and the province, and the provincial leaders in performing health tasks and removing difficulties for the sector; there is still a shortage of drugs, chemicals, supplies, and medical equipment at some public health facilities. The responsibility belongs to the director of the Department of Health" - the content of the document stated.
Faced with the above delay, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province criticized the Director of the Department of Health for not proactively and actively implementing the sector's tasks comprehensively.
At the same time, request the Director of the Department of Health to urgently overcome the shortcomings and report the results to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee before March 20.
