Promoting the tradition of studiousness to contribute to nation building

Attending this program were former President Truong Tan Sang; Ms. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of the Central Youth Union; Mr. Hoang Trung Dung, Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee and 300 representatives of students, youth and businessmen from Ha Tinh.

The program aims to connect generations of Ha Tinh compatriots in Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the southern provinces in general, creating opportunities for children of Ha Tinh to exchange and learn; connecting jobs and high-quality human resources with businesses.

At the same time, this event is an opportunity for Ha Tinh provincial leaders to listen to the opinions of young people, students, businessmen, and children of Ha Tinh compatriots on the development of their homeland.

Speaking at the program, former President Truong Tan Sang emphasized the tradition of studiousness of Ha Tinh people. Thereby, he proposed breakthrough solutions and directions to preserve and promote this tradition, contributing to the construction of the homeland and the country.

Mr. Hoang Trung Dung, Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, hopes that every youth, student, businessman and fellow countrymen of Ha Tinh will always spread the good image of the culture and people of the province. At the same time, act as a bridge to help the province attract investment, attract talents, and develop the local socio-economy.

Many opinions at the program are especially interested in developing human resources and attracting talents to work locally.

For example, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Chau (graduated with honors from Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport) currently working in the field of public passenger transport, said: "I know that the province is attracting and creating a source of staff from excellent graduates and young scientists. In order to develop this human resource, I propose that the provincial leaders study and develop a cooperation process with universities to create conditions for students to study in professions that suit their needs."

Or the opinion of Nguyen Nhu Quynh (student of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology): "The number of university graduates returning to work in their home province is very limited. Therefore, I hope that local leaders will coordinate with Ha Tinh businesses to have policies to create a source of excellent students right from when they are still in school, so that later they will have career opportunities and return to their hometown to work."

Giving gifts to outstanding young people and students from Ha Tinh in Ho Chi Minh City with outstanding achievements in studying

At this program, the leaders of Ha Tinh province and the Southern Ha Tinh Business Association also presented gifts to 200 Ha Tinh youth and students living and studying in Ho Chi Minh City with outstanding achievements; presented 100 million VND to 5 families severely affected by the flood in October 2023 and 9 charity houses (total value of 630 million VND) to households in especially difficult circumstances in Ha Tinh province...
