Promoting the endogenous strength of culture in building and developing Binh Thuan homeland

BTO-On the afternoon of May 13, the Provincial Party Standing Committee held a conference to review 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee (11th tenure) "On building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development". Attending and chairing the conference was comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

Also attending were Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Thi Thuan Bich, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh and leaders of departments, branches, sectors, and social organizations in the province. The program was directly connected to 10 bridge points in districts, towns, and cities.

To specify Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee (term XII) issued and implemented Action Program No. 29-NQ/TU, dated July 11, 2014 "On building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development" (abbreviated as Action Program No. 29-NQ/TU). After 10 years of implementation, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee has paid attention to leading and directing Party committees, authorities, agencies and units at all levels to continue promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. Actively implementing the national target program on new rural construction, especially building the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life".

Up to now, the whole province has 678/691 villages and neighborhoods meeting cultural standards, reaching 98.1%, 75/93 communes meeting new rural standards (80.6%), of which 6 communes have met advanced new rural standards. Many typical cultural festivals of the province have been operating in the direction of improving quality, preserving and promoting national cultural identity, meeting religious and spiritual needs, as well as serving the needs of enjoying art and developing tourism. In addition, bringing culture to the grassroots to serve ethnic minorities, mountainous areas and islands is maintained. The mass art movement is developing more and more widely. At the conference, departments, branches and localities shared their approaches and experiences in implementing Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW in line with the reality at the grassroots level. Concluding the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hoai Anh affirmed: Binh Thuan has 35 ethnic groups, each with its own cultural characteristics and is very diverse and rich. This is a great strength to build culture, build Binh Thuan people in accordance with the standards of good traditional values of Vietnam and progress with the times, deeply integrating with the world. The requirement is that the entire political system and all classes of people must continue to make efforts and be determined to implement the goals, tasks and solutions according to Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW, Action Program No. 29-NQ/TU and resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Party on the fields of culture, literature and art.

On that basis, the Provincial Party Secretary requested to continue to promote the propaganda, dissemination, and thorough and complete understanding of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies on culture and building, developing culture and developing people. Further raise the awareness of cadres, party members, members and people of all walks of life about the role, significance and importance of building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development. From there, we must unify our awareness and actions, and be determined to properly implement the programs and plans for cultural development and building people in the province, making culture permeate the entire life and social activities, into each person, each family, each collective and community, into all areas of life and human relations; truly an important endogenous strength for the cause of building and developing Binh Thuan homeland.

Along with that, promote the role and responsibility of the leaders of Party committees and authorities; the exemplary role of cadres and party members in the implementation process. Propose that the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee urgently complete the project "Cultural value system and human standards of Binh Thuan associated with preserving and developing the Vietnamese family value system". In which, clearly define the standards of Binh Thuan people in accordance with tradition and the times to focus on building and replicating. Quickly complete and put the project "Provincial Theater and Cultural and Art Exhibition" into operation. At the same time, direct the submission to competent authorities for investment policy of the Provincial Museum in the planned area in Hung Vuong Park.

Mass cultural movement improves people's spiritual life

The Provincial Party Secretary also requested to continue promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in conjunction with effectively implementing cultural campaigns and movements. Promote activities to educate on personality, morality and lifestyle in families, schools and society. In addition, strengthen solutions to mobilize resources for cultural development, striving to be commensurate with economic development. Have specific plans for training, fostering and preferential policies to better promote the role of cultural workers at all levels, ensuring that they meet the requirements of their tasks. Strengthen inspection and examination of cultural, artistic, physical education, sports and tourism activities in the locality.
