This lake is about 1km from Thung cave entrance and is considered one of the pristine caves, located deep in the strictly protected area of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park. The lake is surrounded by stalactites with an underground river system below. This giant lake with clear, emerald green water is tentatively named the suspended lake.
Currently, the source of water flowing into this lake has not been found yet, the special thing is that the lake is located about 15m higher than the underground river system. In addition, the exploration team also discovered a passage halfway up the wall of Thung Cave, crossing the main underground river branch.

According to Director of Jungle Boss Limited Liability Company Le Luu Dung, at the time of the expedition, due to the lack of depth exploration equipment, the members of the group could not find the water vein that created the special location of the lake. The group will return to survey and explore this area in the near future.
The discovery of the suspended lake, next to Thung Cave and other caves such as Tron Cave, Hung Cave and Ma Da Valley... promises to be special natural exploration tourism experiences in Phong Nha - Ke Bang primeval forest.
