After a long period of verification and inspection, using professional measures, on January 11, 2024, Market Management Team No. 5, Vinh Phuc Provincial Market Management Department, in coordination with Market Management Team No. 2, the Interdisciplinary Inspection Team to combat smuggling and trade fraud established under Decision No. 2403/QD-CT dated November 8, 2023 of the Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee and Vinh Phuc Provincial Police, suddenly inspected Nguyen Van Loi Business Establishment, located at Phuong Vien Residential Group, Tho Tang Town, Vinh Tuong District, Vinh Phuc Province.

At this time, the authorities discovered that Nguyen Van Loi Business Establishment owned by Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, residing in Vinh Phuc province, had completed the packaging process with nearly 1,000 boxes of finished Tet jams, with the product label stating that it was made by Huong Lap confectionery and jam factory, located at Lane 15, Hung Vuong - Tich Son Vinh Yen, Vinh Phuc, with a variety of ingredients including peanut jam, pumpkin jam, apple jam, carrot jam, coconut jam.... In addition to the quantity of finished products, the establishment also had 20 boxes of Tet jams that had been packaged but had not been labeled; 104 packages inside containing packaged jams and candies, without product labels, not yet packed into jam boxes, and 1,295 product labels used to attach to finished products.

The owner of the facility could not present the Business Registration Certificate, invoices, documents proving the origin of purchased raw materials and related documents. The goods showed signs of counterfeit labels and packaging.

Market Management Team No. 5 temporarily detained all goods showing signs of violations and all raw materials and packaging materials, pending examination, verification and handling according to regulations.

On January 12, 2024, Market Management Team No. 5, Vinh Phuc Provincial Market Management Department worked with the owner of Huong Lap Confectionery Production Facility (Business Household Nguyen Van Lap). At the meeting, the representative of Huong Lap Confectionery Production Facility affirmed that all goods at Mr. Nguyen Van Loi's business facility were not goods produced by Huong Lap.

We also do not authorize or permit any organization or individual to package goods with the label or packaging of goods as stated in the information "Huong Lap Confectionery and Cake Production Facility, Address: Lane 15 - Hung Vuong - Tich Son - VY - VP; Ingredients of Tet jam: Peanut jam, Pumpkin jam, Apple jam, Carrot jam, Coconut jam, confectionery; TCSP: 51/2016/YTVP-XNCB, NSX 1/1/2024; Expiry date: March 1, 2024" therefore, the act of Mr. Nguyen Van Loi packaging goods at the address of Phuong Vien Residential Group, Tho Tang Town, Vinh Tuong District, Vinh Phuc Province is our act of packaging counterfeit goods" the representative of Huong Lap Confectionery Production Facility affirmed during the working session with Market Management Team No. 5.

Currently, Market Management Team No. 5 is continuing to verify and work with the subject to clarify the violation in order to handle it in accordance with the law.

According to the Representative of the Leader of Market Management Team No. 5, in the coming time, closely following the Plan to combat and prevent counterfeit goods, goods of unknown origin and goods infringing intellectual property rights in Vinh Phuc province in the period of 2021-2025 and the directives of superiors, Market Management Team No. 5 will continue to synchronously implement professional measures to promptly detect and strictly handle violations, thereby protecting the rights of consumers and the legitimate interests of legitimate businesses.
