On the morning of April 10, at the Con Noi coastal area, Binh Minh town (Kim Son district), Ninh Binh Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Police Youth Union, Con Noi Border Control Station under Kim Son Border Guard Station coordinated with the Youth Union of Vietnam News Agency to organize a launching ceremony to plant 3,000 casuarina trees and present 150 life jackets to fishermen of Kim Son district.
This is an activity to join hands in protecting the environment, responding to climate change, preventing storms and floods as well as accompanying fishermen to go out to sea, stick to the sea, and protect the sovereignty of the homeland's sea and islands.
At the program, more than 100 officers, soldiers, and youth union members of the Provincial Police, Con Noi Border Control Station, Ninh Binh Provincial Youth Union, and Vietnam News Agency Youth Union simultaneously planted 3,000 new casuarina trees to block wind and waves and protect Con Noi. The Provincial Police Youth Union also coordinated with the Provincial Red Cross to present 150 life jackets to fishermen working on the Con Noi sea route.
After organizing the activities, the coordinating units assigned the youth of Con Noi Border Control Station to coordinate with related units to take care of the casuarina trees, ensuring that the trees grow and develop well, meeting the set requirements.
