The conference attracted the attention of many scientists, researchers, representatives of relevant departments and units.
The Hung Vuong Street completion project with a total length of 5.634km and a cross-section of 40m is one of the key projects of Tam Ky City.
The project aims to improve the traffic system, reduce congestion, improve people's quality of life and promote local socio-economic development.
With a total investment of up to 450 billion VND from the provincial budget, the project will complete the entire route, including drainage systems, sidewalks, trees and other auxiliary works. The project will apply modern construction technologies, ensuring the quality of the project and its long life.
The consultant said the project design process was carefully calculated to ensure harmony with the urban landscape and meet technical standards. The project is expected to be completed in 2027.
At the conference, experts and delegates focused on discussing technical issues such as drainage solutions, ensuring effective drainage systems, preventing localized flooding; calculating the locations of parking lots, traffic intersections; tree systems on routes, lighting, pavement materials, symbol systems at major intersections...
The proposed ideas aim to optimize the function of the route, in line with the investment cost. At the same time, ensure the important goal that people are very interested in: overcoming localized flooding and ensuring aesthetics, becoming a beautiful, modern route, worthy of the new shape of a city striving to become a type 1 city.
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Tri Thanh noted that the project investor and consultant need to seek opinions early, right from the time of proposing investment policies for influential projects such as the Hung Vuong Road completion project. At the same time, attention must be paid to the project name, ensuring consistency with the resolutions of the Provincial People's Council.
Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Le Tri Thanh also noted that the investor and consultant need to carefully assess the environmental impact and properly evaluate the stature and significance of Hung Vuong Street.
Noting that investors and consultants need to carefully study and evaluate the techniques, ensure climate change adaptation, and contribute to solving urban flooding, Mr. Le Tri Thanh also requested that the construction must be calculated to be complete and synchronous, avoiding digging up and filling up many times, both saving money and ensuring future standards and requirements.
Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Tri Thanh proposed calculating intersections, considering competitive selection of architectural works at key intersections, considering suitable materials, researching plans for arranging trees, street lights, and irrigation systems to ensure aesthetics, safety, and convenience. From there, contributing to creating a new, worthy shape in the future.
