This signing marks an important milestone for the long-term partnership between Vietnam Vaccine Joint Stock Company and Pfizer to work towards the goal of comprehensive cooperation to protect public health, proactively prevent diseases, keep up with advances in the world, and actively contribute to the health care of Vietnamese people.
The main purpose of signing the memorandum of understanding is to enhance the capacity of health workers in proactively providing advice and disease prevention for all ages, especially high-risk groups, for vaccine-preventable diseases, through scientific seminars to update knowledge.
Collaborate in improving staff skills in building, deploying and managing a real-world database of vaccinations in Vietnam (real-life data), thereby providing a clearer picture of the vaccination situation in Vietnam to improve vaccination safety.
Raising public awareness of epidemics and preventive medicine through communication and health education... reducing the burden of disease, protecting public health by increasing the rate of proactive prevention of dangerous infectious diseases by many measures including vaccination.
According to Ms. Vu Thi Thu Ha, Director of Supply of VNVC Vaccination System, the Covid-19 epidemic has changed people's awareness of the role of vaccines in disease prevention. The memorandum of understanding marks a turning point for long-term cooperation between Vietnam Vaccine Joint Stock Company and Pfizer Company to jointly aim at raising awareness, protecting public health from vaccine-preventable diseases, keeping up with progress in the world by building a real database on vaccination in Vietnam, actively contributing to the health care of Vietnamese people.
Mr. Anil Argilla - President of Asia Emerging Markets, Pfizer Inc. said: "In Vietnam, Pfizer is committed to accompanying the healthcare system, including the VNVC vaccination center.
