In the context of escalating electricity prices, this is an impressive parameter that helps Panasonic maintain its leading air conditioner sales in the market.

Grasping the potential of the artificial intelligence (AI) industry, Panasonic has successfully researched and developed AI.ECO technology to help cool rooms in a "smart" way. Based on the temperature conditions of each space such as sunlight, heat sources generated from lighting, computers, electrical equipment as well as human body temperature... this mode will proactively capture and optimize cooling performance. Thereby, users can enjoy a comfortable cool feeling every day without worrying about wasting electricity. Panasonic's research shows that AI.ECO is capable of saving up to 20% of power consumption compared to conventional cooling mode.

In addition, Panasonic air conditioners also "score points" with consumers when using R32 gas to ensure safety and faster cooling. R32 gas is a type of gas that meets GWP emission standards (550) much lower than R410A gas (1980), helping to reduce emissions by up to 75%, cooling 1.6 times faster than other types of gas. The energy coefficient COP is improved, helping Panasonic air conditioners with Inverter technology save electricity to the maximum level.

In early 2022, the Group announced its commitment to Panasonic Green Impact with a vision to make a difference in the issues of environmental pollution, depletion of finite resources, and global warming. Panasonic aims to reduce CO2 emissions by more than 300 million tons by 2050, equivalent to 1% of the world's total CO2 emissions. To realize that commitment, Panasonic continuously demonstrates its achievements in the process of reducing CO2 emissions in the production and business activities of the Group and its member companies.

At the same time, Panasonic persistently contributes to Vietnam's environmental protection through corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, realizing the vision of a healthy, inclusive, and sustainably developed society.

Notable among them is the program "Healthy living, green contribution with Panasonic" implemented by Panasonic Vietnam in collaboration with the Center for Natural Resources and Environment Communication in the period 2022 - 2023. The activity aims to plant hundreds of thousands of trees nationwide, contributing to environmental protection, and joining the Vietnamese Government in responding to climate change.

To participate in the program, spreading a healthy green lifestyle to the community, customers only need to buy products from the comprehensive health solution set, receive a tree code to track the planting progress and growth journey throughout 3 years.

From November 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024 alone, Panasonic and customers have greened 41 hectares of cultivated land and bare hills, contributing 257,700 more trees to forests in 7 provinces and cities across the country, strongly spreading the message "Panasonic for a healthy green Vietnam".

At the same time, Panasonic strives to inspire young people to build a green, healthy and sustainable Vietnam through the campaign "Live green with GenG". Season 2 of the campaign (December 2023 - April 2024) with the message "live green, reduce carbon quickly" has spread more than 3,100 actions, helping to reduce more than 147 tons of CO2, equivalent to planting 25,000 trees. The "Gen G Ambassador" program creates a playground for young people who love the environment, with 8 potential initiatives selected from 490 entries, bringing practical value to the community.
