Kinhtedothi - On the afternoon of December 30, 2024, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held a Conference to announce decisions on the transfer and appointment of leadership and management positions of a number of departments and units under the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the spirit of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW.

Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien presented the Decision on the transfer and appointment of journalist Truong Thanh Trung.

On December 29, 2024, on behalf of the Central Executive Committee, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu signed and issued Decision No. 217-QD/TW on the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

This Decision replaces Decision No. 120-QD/TW dated September 6, 2023 of the 13th Politburo on functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; takes effect from the date of signing.

On December 30, 2024, based on the organizational structure of Decision No. 217-QD/TW, the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front handed over decisions on transfer and appointment of leadership and management positions of a number of departments and units under the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

In particular, Decision No. 183/QD-MTTW-BTT dated December 30, 2024 on the transfer and appointment of journalist Truong Thanh Trung - Editor-in-Chief of Front Magazine to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of Dai Doan Ket Newspaper from January 1, 2025; appointment term is 5 years. Journalist Truong Thanh Trung is entitled to a position allowance with coefficient 1.0.

Speaking at the conference to announce and present the decision, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien congratulated the comrades who were transferred and appointed this time according to the new organizational structure. At the same time, he hoped that each comrade would promote his spirit and responsibility to work with the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to review, amend and supplement the working regulations according to Decision 217 of the Politburo in order to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and unity, deploy work faster and more effectively to complete the assigned tasks.

Also at the Conference, on the side of Dai Doan Ket Newspaper, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented decisions on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Nguyen Van Dung - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Front Magazine as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Dai Doan Ket Newspaper; Mr. Tran Bao Trung - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Front Magazine as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Dai Doan Ket Newspaper.

Up to now, the Editorial Board of Dai Doan Ket Newspaper has been completed, including 1 Editor-in-Chief and 4 Deputy Editors-in-Chief, in which journalist Truong Thanh Trung holds the title of Editor-in-Chief, Deputy Editors-in-Chief: Le Anh Dat, Nguyen Dang Khang, Nguyen Van Dung, Tran Bao Trung.
