There is no indication that the latest assassination attempt on Mr Trump will significantly alter his campaign activities or strategy with just seven weeks to go until the November 5 US presidential election.

According to a source familiar with Mr. Trump’s schedule, the former President will stick to his previously scheduled plan to launch his cryptocurrency business at his Mar-a-Lago resort on the night of September 16 (US time).
He then plans to hold a town hall in Flint, Michigan, on September 17, a rally in New York on September 18 and another rally in North Carolina on September 21, the source added. All are scheduled to take place at indoor venues.
It remains unclear whether Mr Trump will continue to play golf. But a close associate said the Secret Service would be unlikely to stop him from playing. “It’s the only way he can relieve stress,” the person said.
Allies of the former president have expressed frustration that a gunman was able to get within 500 yards of Mr Trump while he was playing golf at his West Palm Beach course.
"He needs a full (secret service) team, like when he was president of the United States," said Republican Senator Tommy Tuberville, a close ally of Mr. Trump. "Otherwise, we're facing a disaster."
The Republican presidential nominee kept a low profile on September 16 as more details emerged about the assassination. Trump met with the acting director of the US Secret Service at his home in Palm Beach, Florida, gave interviews to the media and mentioned the incident once on Truth Social.
After the previous assassination attempt on Mr. Trump during a July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, his campaign suspended outdoor rallies. He has since spoken behind bulletproof glass at rallies.
