In the 2019-2024 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee from the district to the grassroots level in Nui Thanh has been continuously strengthened in terms of organization and staff; the content and methods of operation continue to be innovated; the position and role of the Front continue to be affirmed and enhanced.
Every year, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and member organizations consult and agree on the program of activities with 5 key contents of the campaign "All people build new rural areas and civilized urban areas". In 5 years, 116,612m2 of land was donated, 13.6 billion VND was contributed and 18,662 working days were spent on building rural roads and intra-field canals; 780 clusters of stele walls were built, more than 1,040 clusters of billboards were built... to promote the construction of new rural areas and civilized urban areas.
The Front at all levels has built 111 self-management models, of which 58 models have maintained effective operations. In the period of 2019 - 2024, dozens of typical residential areas and hundreds of typical individuals in various fields were recognized, creating a positive impact in society. The average rate of cultural families reached 93%; the average rate of cultural residential areas reached 89%; the construction of 106 cultural ethnic groups was launched and 77 cultural ethnic groups were recognized.
In the past 5 years, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nui Thanh district mobilized the Fund for the Poor for more than 7.1 billion VND; thereby supporting the construction and repair of 77 houses for poor households, providing livelihoods to 249 poor households, giving 2,811 gifts to poor students, supporting the treatment of 810 cases, and helping to relieve hunger for 5,145 households. Mobilizing support for the poor and social security for more than 29.5 billion VND...
The congress elected 56 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nui Thanh district, term IX (2024 - 2029); Mr. Nguyen Quoc Vu was re-elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district. The congress also elected 12 delegates to attend the Vietnam Fatherland Front Provincial Congress, term 2024 - 2029.
