Captain Erik ten Hag in a difficult position
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano pointed out the "miserable" situation of captain Erik ten Hag when he has a transfer plan but cannot "finalize" to bring anyone in because it is not known who will... pay for this purchase for MU.
The Glazers have been selling MU since November 2023, but it is still unclear whether the new owner will come from Qatar, Sheikh Jassim, or British billionaire Jim Ratclitffe, who will join hands with the current American owners.

United are currently fighting for a top-four finish in the Premier League and are likely to achieve that goal with three games remaining. They also have the FA Cup final against Man City on June 3.
Pochettino "nods" to Chelsea
Chelsea have reached an agreement to appoint Mauricio Pochettino as permanent manager at Stamford Bridge.
The two sides have also "finalized" the assistant team that will work with the Argentine coach. Not only that, Pochettino has also discussed summer transfers with the club.
According to Football London, the former Tottenham captain will sign a contract next week.
However, Chelsea are said to have delayed announcing Pochettino as their new manager while the season is still underway. The Blues want to show respect to interim boss Frank Lampard, who replaced Graham Potter last month.
Pochettino is expected to start work from July.
London Evening Standard revealed that before nodding to Chelsea, Pochettino "gave the green light" to return to Tottenham but because Chairman Levy did not make an offer, it did not happen.

Messi unlikely to return to Barca
Argentine journalist Cesar Luis Merlo of TyC Sports said Messi is 'very far away' from returning to Barca.
The Catalan club appear to be Messi's only European destination and despite Barca's leadership reportedly looking to bring him back.
However, according to the above source, even if La Liga approves the feasible plan or not, Messi's return to Nou Camp still has many other problems.
There is also information that Messi's father and agent is hesitant to return to Barca, due to tax concerns. Not to mention, Messi has 2 other attractive offers waiting for him: from Al Hilal and Inter Miami.
Messi is said to have decided to leave Paris last month, after his contract with PSG expired on June 30.
