On the afternoon of June 15, speaking with VietNamNet, the leader of Hai Chau 1 Ward Police (Hai Chau District, Da Nang City) said that he had transferred the case of the Range Rover car being splashed with paint to the District Police to handle and search for the suspect.
Initial information, at around 11:45 a.m. the same day, the man drove a Range Rover with a Da Nang license plate on Tran Quoc Toan Street (Hai Chau 1 Ward).
When he reached the front of house number 86, he stopped his car. When he opened the door, two young men on a motorbike carrying a bucket of red paint suddenly approached and threw paint at his car. After throwing paint, the two men drove away.
At the scene, the hood, front and rear doors on the driver's side of the car were covered in paint.
Mr. D.M. - a nearby security guard said that at the time of the incident, there was a woman in the car. The two subjects used a paint bucket of about 5kg to splash the car, then ran away in the opposite direction towards Phan Chau Trinh street.
“Two young men with their faces covered, when the man opened the car door, approached and threw paint at the car. The woman sitting in the car had her clothes covered in paint,” said Mr. M.
