White license plate Land Cruiser car with flip device, blue license plate 80B

On the afternoon of June 30, the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) said that at 10:00 a.m. the same day, at the Van Don Expressway Toll Station, Quang Ninh, the working group of Team 2 stopped and inspected a Land Cruiser VX car with license plate 80B-91.xx, due to many suspicious signs. At that time, there were 5 people in the car, including 1 male and 4 females.

During the inspection, the traffic police identified the driver as Mr. Nguyen Dinh H. (in Hoang Mai district, Hanoi).

During the inspection, the working group discovered that this car used the license plate 80B-91.xx, which was not the same as the vehicle registration issued by Hanoi City Police; at the same time, it was discovered that the car used a license plate flipping device with the license plate 29A-455.xx.

Checking the vehicle registration database system of the Traffic Police Department determined that the license plate 80B-91.xx was issued to a vehicle under the management of the Administration Department, Government Office.

Faced with undeniable evidence, Mr. Nguyen Dinh H. admitted that the Land Cruiser VX he was driving had license plate 29A-455.xx and that he had installed a license plate flipping device on his vehicle, one side showing the correct license plate of the vehicle, and the other side showing license plate 80B-91.xx.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh H. also presented the registration and inspection papers of the vehicle with license plate 29A-455.xx owned by him.

Team 2 is also verifying signs of profiteering by Nguyen Dinh H. when he drove a car with a fake blue license plate through toll stations, appropriating the road toll of vehicle 80B-91.xx.

The case is being handled by Team 2 in coordination with Van Don District Police according to regulations.

According to the Traffic Police Department, currently, vehicle license plates are identified for strict management, so the Traffic Police Department recommends that any act of using license plates not issued by competent authorities, devices to change license plates or falsify vehicle documents..., the perpetrator will be at risk of being prosecuted or administratively handled according to the provisions of law.
