On the afternoon of June 27, Nui Thanh District Police (Quang Nam) are investigating the cause of the accident between a train and a 4-seat car that just occurred in the area.

According to initial information, at around 10:45 a.m. the same day, a 4-seat car with license plate 92A, driven by Mr. NTK (47 years old, residing in Ba Bau village, Tam Xuan 2 commune, Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam), had just left his house, heading towards National Highway 1A.

While crossing the railway, at the intersection with the residential concrete road (Ba Bau village), the car was hit by train SE5 running from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City and thrown nearly 10m.

The strong, head-on collision completely deformed the front of the car. The driver was trapped in the car and had to be rescued by locals and taken to the emergency room.

Train SE5 was not damaged and continued its journey about 5 minutes after the accident. Upon receiving the report, authorities were present at the scene to record the situation.

According to local residents, the accident site had no barriers or warning lights, only a train watch sign.
