In the fourth (final) qualifying round of the Veghel 2024 3-cushion billiards World Cup, Nguyen Hoan Tat was in a rather difficult group C with the participation of Jeremy Bury (France) and Peter De Backer (Belgium). After a shaky start, the Belgian player rose strongly and continuously led Hoan Tat in terms of points. On the other hand, the Vietnamese player fell into a deadlock and at times did not score any points during 9 consecutive turns. Hoan Tat tried to regain his feeling and narrowed the gap before the match entered the break. The match ended with De Backer leading 22-20.
