The content of the article and message being spread on social networks is said to refer to the 2024 high school graduation exam subjects that will take place on June 27 and 28.
On the night of June 25, in some student groups on social networks such as "Kid stole the essay questions", "High School Graduation Exam 2024", candidates continuously spread photos of some posts and messages referring to the upcoming 2024 high school graduation exam. Specifically, the content of the posts and messages spread online said that "the 2024 National High School Exam (ie the 2024 High School Graduation Exam - PV) in 3 main subjects has been leaked", specifically in the 3 subjects of literature, math and English.
For the English exam, information spread that 7 questions in the reading comprehension test will be taken from a major American newspaper published on May 28, the other 5 questions "taken from a school that issued the final exam for the second semester 4 years ago". Meanwhile, in math, "the first 30 questions are very easy, from question 33 it gets more difficult... the climax from question 36 is very difficult with many new and very difficult and strange math problems, the last 7 questions are very difficult...", articles and messages stated.
Notably, with the literature topic, posts and messages on social networks said that the literature discussion section would "name" the work " Country " by poet Nguyen Khoa Diem, while the reading comprehension section would not be poetry but a paragraph. In addition, the posted information also emphasized: "The topic has been released and there are only 5 days left (from the time of posting - PV) and it cannot be changed."
Even though it was midnight, candidates were still discussing the "exam leak" on social media platforms such as Facebook and TikTok.
This information immediately "caused a storm" in groups, attracting a lot of attention and discussion even though the clock was already at 10 or 11 pm. Some candidates expressed their confidence in the information being spread and said they would "learn by heart" the work " Dat Nuoc ". Others denied it, saying that this was just false news. "There is no leak, calm down guys", said one candidate.
Regarding this issue, an account named "History teacher" with about 133,000 followers posted a "correction" information, attracting thousands of interactions. This account wrote: "Currently, some groups are posting some images claiming to have leaked exam questions, which is not accurate, students! If there are any, please let the Ministry (Ministry of Education and Training - PV) verify because there are still 2-3 backup plans. Students should focus on reviewing their lessons according to plan."
An account spoke up to reassure candidates that the information about leaked exam questions was "incorrect".
Previously, when the 10th grade entrance exam in Hanoi was taking place, social networks were also abuzz with information that the literature exam had been leaked. According to the posted information, the original literature exam had the work Kitchen Fire by author Bang Viet, and the essay exam discussed courage. However, due to the leak, at 5 a.m. on June 8, before the literature exam, the entire exam was replaced, including math and English.
This information was denied by Director of Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong the following morning. Afterwards, Hanoi City Police quickly investigated and confirmed that this was fake and untrue information. The police also identified and worked with social media accounts that posted false information and will assess the level to handle it in accordance with the law.
Recently, during an inspection trip to prepare for the 2024 high school graduation exam in Hanoi led by Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong, a representative of the Hanoi City Police also emphasized that similar cases would be strictly handled, and at the same time warned social media users not to post unverified information that could affect the safety and security of the exam.
