Currently, Australia, Japan, China, and Korea are in the top 4. In the last match against U20 Australia, we want to win to be in the top 4 ,” Coach Akira shared with the media.

U20 Vietnam won a ticket to the final round of the 2024 Asian U20 Women's Championship.
Striker Ngoc Minh Chuyen said: “ I felt very happy to score, but it was not until the end of the first half that we were able to take advantage of the opportunity and play more comfortably to overcome the difficulties. Regarding Bao Tram's goal, the whole team celebrated but the referee did not recognize it, so it was very surprising. The atmosphere in the Phu Tho stands also helped the whole team become much more confident. Thank you to the fans for supporting and watching the whole team compete .”
In the final match of Group A, U20 Vietnam will face U20 Australia. Coach Akira Ijiri and his team need to win against their opponents to take the top spot in the group. U20 Vietnam currently has 6 points, equal to U20 Australia but is inferior in terms of additional indexes.
Although both teams have already secured tickets to the 2024 AFC U20 Championship, the victory in the final round still has its own meaning for Bao Tram and her teammates. The top position in the qualifying round helps U20 Vietnam have an advantage when drawing lots for the final round. This is also an affirmation of the progress and spirit of U20 Vietnam.
