According to the South China Morning Post, Second Lieutenant Xu Fengcan is one of many Chinese military pilots participating in the Zhuhai International Airshow. However, this female pilot received special attention from the media because of her appearance similar to Korean actress Song Hye-kyo.

The event is China's largest air show, taking place from November 12-17 in Zhuhai city, Guangdong province.

According to Zhejiang TV, Lieutenant Xu Fengcan won the admiration of many international colleagues and visitors to the exhibition. People even lined up to take souvenir photos with the Chinese female pilot.

Lieutenant Tu Phong Xan received special attention from the media because of his resemblance to Korean actress Song Hye-kyo.

Lieutenant Xu Fengcan began to attract attention in November 2022, when he gave an interview to China Central Television (CCTV) to introduce a new helicopter model at the China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition that same year.

In addition to her beautiful appearance, Tu Phong Xan is also admired by the Chinese online community for her achievements in the military.

Second Lieutenant Xu Fengxan was born in 1999 in Zhejiang Province. After graduating from high school in 2017, she and nine other female students beat out more than 120,000 applicants across China to enter the Chinese Army Aviation Academy.

In 2020, Xu Fengxan became the first female pilot to successfully complete an independent flight mission. In 2021, she became one of 10 female military pilots of the Chinese Army.

Second Lieutenant Xu Fengcan is assigned to the armed helicopter unit of the Chinese Army and is currently operating a Harbin Z-20 multi-purpose helicopter.

In 2023, female pilot Xu Fengcan was elected as a delegate to China's parliament and was nominated as one of three ambassadors for the country's military schools in June.

When asked what motivated him to pursue his dream of conquering the sky, Lieutenant Tu Phong Xan said: "It is the passion for flying and the love for this military uniform."

Xu describes himself as someone who is up for a challenge. "I used to tell myself, 'If I can overcome the difficulties of flying complex aircraft, like the Harbin Z-20, my flying skills will improve significantly,'" Xu told CCTV.

Xu's story has drawn a lot of comments on Chinese social media. "She is both beautiful and brave! She deserves praise," one account wrote. "This is the real star we should admire," another commented.
