NTO - Ninh Phuoc: Deploying economic development tasks

On December 1, Ninh Phuoc District People's Committee held a conference to evaluate the socio-economic development situation in 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024.

Carrying out the tasks of 2023, with the spirit of initiative, creativity and high determination of the Party Committee, the government and people of the district achieved 10/11 targets and exceeded the plan. The economy continued to grow well, the production value of industries reached 11,105 billion VND, an increase of 12.81% compared to 2022; state budget revenue reached nearly 93 billion VND, exceeding 2.5% of the target assigned by the province; the poverty rate decreased by 1.64%... New rural construction and sustainable poverty reduction programs were focused on; planning and land work were strengthened. The fields of culture, society, vocational training, employment, education and health had many positive changes. Social security policies were fully and promptly implemented; political security, order and social safety in the area were maintained and stable.

In 2024, Ninh Phuoc district sets the goal: Focus on implementing the policy of restructuring the economy associated with renewing the growth model towards maximizing the potential advantages of the district, taking high-tech agriculture and renewable energy as the driving force for rapid and sustainable economic development. Focus on managing and effectively using resources, protecting resources and the environment, responding to climate change; ensuring social security, improving people's material and spiritual life; ensuring security and national defense; improving the quality of new rural districts and implementing the roadmap to build Phuoc Dan town to meet type IV urban standards. Strive to bring the total production value of all industries to 12,551 billion VND, an increase of 12.66% compared to 2023; average income per capita of 75 million VND/person/year; creating jobs for 2,900 workers; poverty reduction rate of 0.5%...
