The total cultivated area in 6 months was 17,143 hectares, reaching 86.1% of the plan; of which, rice was 9,844.8 hectares, exceeding the plan by 0.28%; corn was 1,728.6 hectares, up 5.1% over the same period. The total food output reached 43,102 tons, reaching 50.5% of the plan. The area of key crops has been continuously expanded; advanced technologies have been applied to production. The whole district has transformed the crop structure of 61 hectares, exceeding the plan by 5.7%. Continue to implement new models, replicate effective production models in agriculture associated with product consumption linkage; In which, 15 large-scale rice, corn, and green asparagus field models were implemented with a total area of 2,346 hectares. In livestock farming, along with the effective implementation of solutions, disease prevention and control, the district developed a herd of over 100,200 livestock, reaching 97.7% of the plan; shrimp seed production reached 2,875 million postlarvae, reaching 44.8% of the plan; maintaining 1 breeding technology transfer center and 214 bird nest farming facilities.

The industrial and construction sector's production value reached VND 2,894 billion, reaching 56.9% of the plan, up 10.68% over the same period. Since the beginning of the year, there have been 2 solar power projects under construction, with a total capacity of 150 MW. Up to now, the whole district has 13 wind and solar power projects with a total capacity of 489,221 MW. In addition, there are 483 rooftop solar power systems, with a total installed capacity of 66,689 kW; the district is also implementing the Project on developing craft villages associated with the construction of Phuoc Dan type IV urban area. Developing specific agricultural products such as: Grape wine, grape syrup... in Phuoc Thuan; dried apples, dried grapes, pre-processed goat and lamb meat in Phuoc Thuan, Phuoc Hau and green asparagus tea in An Hai.
In addition, the district accelerated the construction of transitional projects in 2022, allocated capital to implement investment projects in 2023 with 14 projects, disbursed 37,776 billion VND, reaching 50.8% of the plan; approved the settlement of 18 completed projects and selected contractors for 25 projects. In addition, the value of commercial and service production has improved, reaching 1,740 billion VND, up 17.22% over the same period.
In the program of building new rural areas (NTM) and building type IV urban areas of Phuoc Dan, the district has assessed the current status of criteria for communes and villages of NTM according to the set of criteria for the period 2021-2025. The district has completed procedures to recognize Long Binh 1, Long Binh 2 and Nam Cuong villages, An Hai commune; Ninh Quy 2 village, Phuoc Son commune; Hiep Hoa village, Phuoc Thuan commune; Nhu Binh, Da Trang, Thai Giao and Hoai Ni villages, Phuoc Thai commune as meeting NTM standards. The Provincial People's Committee recognized An Hai commune as meeting advanced NTM standards. Organize and guide households to register to build OCOP products. Review and integrate resources to build type IV urban areas of Phuoc Dan according to the plan.

Comrade Bach Van Nguyen, Chairman of Ninh Phuoc District People's Committee, said: Carrying out the socio-economic development tasks in the last months of 2023, the district continues to promote the recovery of production and business activities, stabilize social life, strive to successfully achieve the set goals, promote the transformation of crop structure, and apply technology for effective production. In particular, focusing on directing the production of the summer-autumn crop and the winter-spring crop in 2023 associated with the plan to produce 2 rice crops/year; replicating effective production models, applying high technology associated with product consumption linkage; proactively developing plans to prevent and combat natural disasters, solutions to prevent and combat diseases on crops and livestock. Implementing solutions to improve the quality of the district and commune of NTM associated with the implementation of the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program; focusing on mobilizing and integrating socialized resources to build Phuoc Dan to meet the standards of a type IV urban area; develop traditional craft villages, build product brands, preserve and link with tourism. Continue to implement the 2023 land use plan and complete the approval procedures for the new rural planning of 8 communes; adjust and expand the general planning of Phuoc Dan town and regional planning. Strengthen land and mineral management; focus on site clearance for key projects; speed up construction progress, disbursement of public investment capital and capital for national target programs; call for investment in tourism development projects, implement community tourism projects.
In the cultural and social fields, successfully implement the new school year 2023-2024, associated with improving the quality of teaching and learning; improve the quality of the district to meet national standards on universal education. Focus on health care, improve the quality of medical examination and treatment for people, mobilize people to participate in health insurance; train workers, solve employment and implement social policies; effectively implement measures to ensure political security, order and social safety.
