NTO - Bac Ai strives to fulfill economic targets

At the end of the first 6 months of 2023, the socio-economic situation of Bac Ai district achieved some very positive results. The total production value is estimated at 808.7 billion VND, reaching 41.9% of the plan, up 10.2% over the same period; the budget revenue in the area is more than 9 billion VND, reaching 77.6% of the plan. Social security policies are implemented correctly for the right subjects and regulations; political security, order and social safety in the district are maintained.

In the first 6 months of 2023, with the concentrated efforts of the entire political system from the district to the grassroots level, the socio-economic situation of Bac Ai district was maintained stable.

The main contributor to the growth of Bac Ai district in the first 6 months of 2023 is the agricultural and forestry production sector. Thanks to the relatively favorable weather conditions for agricultural production, the capacity of reservoirs reaching over 95%, the organization of reasonable and economical water regulation, in the first 6 months of the year, over 6,700 hectares were planted, reaching 58.6% of the yearly plan, an increase of 8.3% over the same period; the estimated output reached over 4,900 tons/18,000 tons, reaching 27.3% of the plan. The conversion of crop structure exceeded the set plan. The work of preventing and controlling plant diseases was directed and implemented synchronously. In livestock farming, the district has well implemented solutions to prevent, control and control diseases, the whole district has developed over 92,000 cattle, reaching 100.3% of the plan. Maintain 38 farms and 10 agricultural service cooperatives. Farm chains linked to production in pig, aquaculture, and rice farming continue to be effective. Propaganda, dissemination of laws, and inspection of forest protection contracts are enhanced, and violations are promptly handled.

The management of natural resources and environment continues to be implemented well. Up to now, the land use planning (SDĐ) until 2030 and the 2022 land use plan of the district have been approved; continue to direct the acceleration of the issuance of land use right certificates in the district and focus on removing difficulties in the issuance of land use right certificates in resettlement and farming projects. Focus on directing the appraisal of management plans, land use to remove 3 types of forests in the district from the planning. Issue a decision to allocate residential land without auctioning land use rights to households in Phuoc Thang and Phuoc Hoa communes. The district has directed the implementation of the school year plan in accordance with the actual situation of the locality, focusing on effectively implementing the 2018 General Education Program and experimental teaching of Raglai language; continuing to maintain 9/9 communes recognized as meeting universal education standards, the district meeting level 1 literacy standards; actively implementing the work of building schools meeting national standards, resulting in 12/29 schools in the district being recognized as meeting standards, reaching 41.4% of the total number of schools. In addition, the district accelerated the progress of allocating and disbursing the capital plan for 2023 and disbursing the remaining investment capital sources for 2022; continued to direct the mobilization of resources to focus on development investment to complete infrastructure and urgent works serving people's lives. To date, 59,957 million VND/129,871 million VND has been disbursed, reaching 46.2% of the assigned capital plan.
