At the meeting, the council members agreed on the candidates for 14 categories and the "For the Community" and "Excellent Literature and Arts" awards.

Meritorious Artist Ca Le Hong commented that the theater atmosphere in Ho Chi Minh City is bustling thanks to the Ho Chi Minh City Drama Festival 2024.
