On April 1, the producer of the Cai Luong Academy program held a press conference to introduce the first season of the Cai Luong Academy. This is the passionate project of People's Artist Bach Tuyet (even though she is nearly 80 years old). The Cai Luong Academy program, with its combination of "training - competition - performance", aims to build the image of a new generation of Cai Luong artists. They not only work in the profession but also in culture, contributing to the preservation and development of Cai Luong art.
The Cai Luong Academy program consists of 12 episodes. The first 3 episodes are the selection round for contestants, the next 8 episodes are challenges to train and practice skills for the contestants. From the initial 50 contestants, 25 contestants will be selected to move on to the next round. Then, the remaining contestants will be gradually eliminated to enter the final round.
Episode 12 will close the show, announcing the Cai Luong champion.
The producer said that they will organize many forms to create an environment for the contestants to have the opportunity to perform in front of the public on a professional stage. The criteria of the program is to find - train - pass on the profession and "tailor" the voices and roles that suit the strengths of each contestant.
In addition to the regular artists and lecturers, the Cai Luong Academy also invites many famous artists to impart knowledge and skills to students through each episode and each challenge.
