Artist Hoang Hiep is an actor, director and author who has had many plays staged at theaters. He returned to his homeland from the US after 5 years away.
"I had the opportunity to visit you as a way to regain positive energy for myself. Because you told many stories about your time performing, each of you still maintained your passion for the stage and cinema. I was extremely moved when I saw that Uncle Mac Can was still charming, telling very charming jokes. Miss Dieu Hien and Ngoc Dang also sang very well, I hope to have the opportunity to return to the stage under the colorful lights. A very meaningful trip for me" - Artist Hoang Hiep confided.

Artists Kieu Phuong Loan and Tu Trinh spent a lot of time talking with their professional brother, because artist Huynh Thanh Tra was an actor student at the Saigon National School of Music and Drama - now the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, the previous class of the two artists Tu Trinh and Kieu Phuong Loan.
Artist Huynh Thanh Tra was moved: "We met again after a long time so we had many things to talk about, asking about colleagues who used to be famous on stage, now some have passed away, some are seriously ill, we are so happy to still meet each other" - the famous actor in the movie "Loan Mat Nhung" confided.

When artist Kieu Phuong Loan asked, if there was a group that invited him to perform again, or act in a movie, artist Huynh Thanh Tra would accept. He smiled brightly: "It's very difficult, because my health doesn't allow it. Just changing costumes for filming or acting is a torture, because my legs are weak. So even though there was an invitation, I was very hesitant, because I would make the film crew suffer, they would have to take care of me, it would be very hard" - artist Huynh Thanh Tra shared.

When visiting Meritorious Artist Dieu Hien, artist Kieu Phuong Loan was extremely moved, because "General Nhuy Kieu" still sang very well, her voice was still high. "The only thing is that her legs are weak. Every morning, artist Dieu Thanh - her daughter pushed her wheelchair to take her for a walk around Thi Nghe Nursing Center, then returned to her room to watch TV. I remember the time when Dieu Hien and I performed, went to film cai luong videos, so many beautiful memories of an artist's life" - artist Kieu Phuong Loan said.

Artist Tu Trinh happily said that since the 7 veteran artists returned to Thi Nghe, many associations, charity organizations, and students from schools have visited. This brings joy and motivation to overcome the sadness of an artist's life in the late afternoon.
Artist Hoang Hiep lights incense before the altar of the Theater Ancestors and the portrait of the late People's Artist Phung Ha. He said that every time he visits his homeland, or his colleagues from other countries come back, he will introduce them to visit the veteran artists. "There is no greater joy than when the younger generation of artists is always grateful to those who came before. You guys are the generation that paved the way for the younger generation to follow that enlightened path, creating a solid foundation for the theater" - Hoang Hiep said with emotion.
