NovaGroup launches a series of programs to support people in flood-affected areas
Voluntarily deducting salary, donating money to localities, donating houses for auction... are activities that NovaGroup and other units in the ecosystem have been carrying out to join hands to support people in flood-hit areas. When faced with the difficulties of the people, all employees of NovaGroup, in the spirit of volunteerism, helping each other, wanted to contribute at least one day's salary per employee. Immediately after launching, Novator enthusiastically responded, many employees voluntarily donated 5-10 days' salary. From September 12 to the morning of September 14, 2024, the total registered salary contribution was nearly 1.5 billion VND, and this number is continuing to increase. It is expected that early next week, NovaGroup will summarize and transfer all the donations to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to join hands to help people overcome storms, floods, and difficulties. On September 13, 2024, at the Launching Ceremony organized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, Novaland Group - a key member of the NovaGroup ecosystem donated 500 million VND to support people in localities affected by storm Yagi.
In particular, Novaland will donate a sea-view house at NovaWorld Phan Thiet, worth VND5.3 billion, to the Sesame Seed Fund, contributing to the list of auction items at the music night "Call of Love", taking place at 7pm on September 15 at Tomchat stage, My Dinh, Hanoi. This is one of a series of charity fundraising programs organized by the Sesame Seed volunteer group in collaboration with major media units. All proceeds will be directly brought by Sesame Seed to the people. In addition, Novaland is also planning to coordinate with units to auction a house in the Tropicana subdivision, NovaWorld Ho Tram project, worth VND6.8 billion to continue supporting people in flood-hit areas. In parallel with the donation of real estate products for auction to raise funds and support through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of the provinces, many activities at the grassroots level and members of the ecosystem have been and are being deployed to join hands with the whole country to support people in flood-hit areas. Specifically, from September 11 to September 15, Nova Consumer has implemented non-profit sales activities in the Northern provinces for essential products and other practical gifts. Nova Consumer also called for the participation of businesses, agencies, philanthropists and charitable organizations to join hands in providing essential food for people in difficulty. During the 32 years of establishment and development, NovaGroup has always clearly demonstrated its social responsibility through sustainable business development such as creating stable jobs for employees and thousands of direct and indirect jobs for local people in projects invested and developed by Novaland; contributing to increasing the value of Vietnamese agricultural products through the production of consumer goods of the Nova Consumer brand as well as enhancing commercial services, creating destinations, promoting local tourism of Nova Service... Although still facing many difficulties in production and business activities, NovaGroup and members of the ecosystem have been and will continue to make efforts to carry out many practical and quick actions to share and accompany our compatriots in difficult times.
