Recently, Miss Nong Thuy Hang arrived at Tan Son Nhat Airport (Ho Chi Minh City) to go to Chengdu (China) to participate in the Miss Friendship International 2023 contest. Sharing with Dan Viet , the beauty born in 1999 said that she brought 7 suitcases of luggage, about 50 outfits with a total weight of more than 70kg.

Miss Nong Thuy Hang said she felt lucky to receive a lot of support from her loved ones while preparing everything for this contest by herself. The Tay ethnic beauty also revealed that the design accompanying her in the national costume competition at Miss Friendship International 2023 was an outfit called Phap Lam Imprint by designer Nguyen Viet Hung.

"The costume is inspired by Hue enamel art - a unique royal heritage that the Nguyen Dynasty left for posterity. The upper part of the costume is a creative combination of the ao dai and the yem dress. The skirt and crown are meticulously embellished with light-catching stones. The highlight of the design is the 1.35m high wing depicting the image of the ceremonial gate in front of Thai Hoa Palace (Hue Imperial City). The 3D wing part looks like an open fan, symbolizing abundance and prosperity," Miss Nong Thuy Hang shared.

It is known that this outfit was performed by beauty Dang Hoang Tam Nhu and contributed to helping her win the 4th runner-up position at the Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 contest.

"My parents and family are living in Ha Giang while I departed from Tan Son Nhat Airport (Ho Chi Minh City). Because the road was so far, my parents could not be there to see me off. However, they called me on video and gave me many instructions, because this was also the first time I had traveled so far," Miss Nong Thuy Hang explained.

Nong Thuy Hang was born in 1999 in Ha Giang, is of the Tay ethnic group. She was crowned Miss Ethnic Vietnam in July 2022. Since her coronation, the beauty queen has been actively participating in community and charity activities and carrying out her own projects to promote ethnic cultural identity.

It is known that the Miss International Friendship 2023 contest will be held in Chengdu (China) from October 14 to November 3 with the competition of 70 contestants from countries and territories around the world.
