Farmers invent agricultural machines in Binh Phuoc, granted exclusive patent by the Intellectual Property Office

According to Decision No. 841-QD/HNDTW dated September 17, 2024 of the Central Standing Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union on honoring the "Farmer's Scientist" for the 5th time in 2024, member, farmer Nguyen Van Linh - Group 6, Tan Tien Quarter, Tan Xuan Ward, Dong Xoai City, Binh Phuoc Province is one of 56 individuals selected by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union to honor.

Member Nguyen Van Linh is a hard-working farmer with more than 10 years of experience in growing cashews and rubber.

After a period of "stealing" the profession of electrician and mechanic from friends, combined with a passion for creative research and a determined desire to help farmers reduce hardship, from rudimentary machinery, without going through any technical school, member Nguyen Van Linh has researched, learned, and innovated multifunctional agricultural machinery, helping to improve efficiency, free up labor, protect farmers' health, reduce production costs, and increase profits for users.

Up to now, member Nguyen Van Linh has researched, invented and manufactured products that are useful for the agricultural sector at prices much more competitive than similar products sold on the market.

These are agricultural machines and equipment including: “5 in 1” pesticide sprayers; equipment used to pump viscous fluids (such as rubber latex, liquid mud or similar fluids); fire-resistant rubber leaf blowers for dry seasons; compact-sized improved sprayers specifically used in durian gardens.

Products manufactured by member Nguyen Van Linh are currently used by farmers in over 20 provinces and cities nationwide and some countries in the region such as Laos and Cambodia with prices ranging from several million to hundreds of millions of VND depending on the type of machine.

In 2023, Linh Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was honored in the top 3 of Vietnam Innovation Hub Award 2023, the 2023 innovation award.

All products manufactured by member Nguyen Van Linh have copyright registration certificates and have achieved high rankings in many Technical Innovation Contests organized by Binh Phuoc province and Dong Xoai city. In particular, the device used to pump viscous fluids was granted an exclusive patent by the Department of Intellectual Property, Ministry of Science and Technology in 2023.
