Wood dust tank explosion in Binh Duong, 9 workers injured

On the afternoon of July 6, speaking with Dan Tri reporter, the leader of Binh Duong Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs confirmed the above information.

According to this person, the explosion occurred at around 2:00 p.m. the same day at the branch of Hoang Thong Wood Company Limited on CN8 Road, Tan Binh Industrial Park, Tan Binh Town, Bac Tan Uyen District (Binh Duong).

At that time, while workers were cleaning the wood dust extraction system in the company's branch, the dust tank exploded. The explosion injured 9 workers, 4 of whom were severely burned and were taken to Binh Duong General Hospital for emergency treatment.

Bac Tan Uyen District Police and relevant professional units were present to examine the scene and take witness statements. The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
