That means candidates still lack the conditions to graduate from high school and have not registered on the system of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET).

Therefore, candidates must wait for the high school graduation results and must register for the first round of admission on the Ministry of Education and Training's system from July 18 to 5:00 p.m. on July 30, 2024.

Another special note for early admission candidates is that for candidates who have met the conditions for early admission according to the announcement of the schools, candidates are not required to set that wish as their first wish. In case the candidate sets early admission as their first wish on the system, they will definitely be admitted. At the same time, they must ensure that they are recognized as high school graduates.

Previously, from July 6 to 5:00 p.m. on July 10, the Ministry of Education and Training began opening the enrollment support system for candidates to register for the trial exam.

According to Associate Professor Dr. Vu Duy Hai, Head of Admissions and Career Guidance Department ( Hanoi University of Science and Technology), after July 10, the system will close, the data of candidates registering for the trial will be completely deleted. From July 18 to 30, candidates will register their admission wishes and the system will then record them.

Meanwhile, a large number of candidates mistakenly registered on this system, along with being admitted early, will complete their registration this year. According to experts, this is a big mistake, causing them to be unfairly failed in the first round of admission. At this time, candidates can only wait for the additional admission round, but not all majors and schools will consider additional admission...

Strategy to arrange wishes for candidates who have passed the exam early

In recent consultations with candidates before entering the 2024 admission round, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy, Director of the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training) said that when registering for early admission, candidates can register at many schools and many schools will also announce their admission. Therefore, candidates need to prioritize the system according to their preferences. If they have been admitted early, placing their first choice will definitely help them get admitted.

Emphasizing to candidates who have participated in early admission and early admission to universities, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy said that many students subjectively think that they have been admitted, but are mistaken, this is just a process implemented at each individual school.

"All candidates nationwide still have to register their admission wishes on the general support system of the Ministry of Education and Training. Only then will their wishes be recorded and become legally effective, including early admission wishes. They can be admitted to 10 or 20 schools early, but can only attend one school. Therefore, they must prioritize their wishes on the general admission system of the Ministry of Education and Training," Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy shared.

"If you have been admitted early and achieved your first choice, you will pass that choice, but you still have to register your choice on the common system of the Ministry of Education and Training. You should not be subjective, because when you come back, the system will be closed and there will be no more opportunity to register. These are practical experiences of State management in enrollment work up to now," Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy further affirmed.
