Eye-catching acrobatics at the world jet ski race in Binh Dinh

On March 23, within the framework of the world jet ski race taking place in Binh Dinh, international athletes left behind extremely impressive performances.

The ABP Aquabike World Championship (UIM) has competition categories, including: Runabout GP1 (for professional or experienced racers in this category; using two-seat jet skis, speeds up to 170 km/h), Ski Division GP1 and Ski Ladies GP1 (for women only, using single-seat jet skis; speeds up to 130 km/h), Freestyle (a water sport performance in which athletes perform complex movements and techniques on the water through jumping, spinning, turning, crossing the water and other risky movements).

For the race in Binh Dinh, taking place from March 22 to 24 at Thi Nai Bay (Quy Nhon City), racers will participate in the Circuit category, for both Runabout GP1 and Ski GP1.

Racers compete on a track with many buoys, including left and right turns, side tracks and penalty buoys. At the end of the race, the organizer will have 21 prestigious trophies awarded to racers in all competition categories.

According to Mr. Paolo di San Germano, representative of Aquabike Promotion (the race organizer), there are 55 racers from 26 countries participating in the world jet ski race in 4 categories. Of which, 20 racers participate in the Runabout GP1 category; 21 racers compete in the Ski Division GP1 category; 11 racers compete in the Ski Ladies GP1 category and 3 racers compete in the Freestyle category.
