(Dan Tri) - In the days leading up to Independence Day, all the streets of Hanoi are filled with red flags with yellow stars to celebrate the 79th anniversary of National Day, September 2.
On holidays, Tet or important anniversaries of the country, every street and corner in the capital Hanoi wears a new shirt with the bright red flag with yellow star. That image becomes even more special when in the historic month of September, Vietnam celebrates the 79th anniversary of gaining independence. The flag is a symbol of solidarity, patriotism, and national pride of every Vietnamese person. Vietnamese people look at the national flag flying with pride in their hearts. That love and pride spread from generation to generation and become a cultural beauty imbued with Vietnamese identity.
The image of the red flag with yellow star appears in every corner, covering the walkways, creating an extremely brilliant and beautiful picture. Gam Cau Street (Hoan Kiem District) is bustling with a traditional market every morning, standing out with rows of red flags with yellow stars hanging along the walkways. The peaceful, relaxed atmosphere of the people during the Independence Day celebrations. Many forums on social networks and scholars have commented that there are few nations in the world that love the national flag as much as the Vietnamese people. A familiar scene at Yen Thai market (Hoan Kiem district) on holidays and Tet with two rows of flags stretching along both sides of the road. Minh Chau (born in 2003), a student at the Academy of Finance, followed the information on social networks and went to the location of Lane 150 Yen Phu to take pictures with the national flag. Chau was quite surprised when many people came here to take pictures, after a while of searching for a good location, Chau also found satisfactory photos here. Alley 5/1 Tu Hoa Street (Quang An Ward, Tay Ho District, Hanoi) is about 2m wide and less than 100m long, featuring dozens of arched houses. What’s more special is that this alley is also decorated with many national flags along the way. As early as 7:30 a.m., Nguyen Thi Hue (born in 2001) invited her friends from Ha Dong to alley 5/1 Tu Hoa street to record moments in this special alley. Hue said she was very impressed with the arched gates along both sides of the street, which were also decorated with the national flag. Hoa chose the prop in her hand, the red flag with a yellow star, to take meaningful photos with her friends on the occasion of September 2 this year. The gate of Ha Yen Quyet communal house in Cot village (Yen Hoa, Cau Giay) becomes more prominent with hundreds of flags hanging above. This is also a place that attracts many people to come to take photos and check-in. Ms. Le Hang (Trung Hoa, Cau Giay) said that she often passes by the gate of Ha Yen Quyet communal house and knows that this place is decorated with beautiful flags, so on the occasion of the holiday, she brought Bon (Ms. Hang's son) to take pictures and record memorable moments on this important national holiday.
