On June 1, Hyundai will officially launch the Hyundai Accent 2024. This new version has many significant improvements in design, which is considered quite similar to the Elantra. The front of the car is modern with a long LED strip and headlights integrated into the grille. The rear of the car is also equipped with a horizontal LED strip, giving it a powerful appearance.
In the Indian market, the new Hyundai Accent is equipped with two engine options: a 1.5 naturally aspirated petrol engine with a capacity of 115 horsepower, maximum torque of 143.8Nm, with a 6-speed manual transmission or CVT. The 1.5 turbocharged engine produces 160 horsepower, maximum torque of 253Nm. These equipments promise to bring a powerful driving experience to Vietnamese users.

In addition to the Accent, Hyundai is also scheduled to launch a new version of the Grand i10. This model is expected to have many outstanding changes such as the daytime running lights integrated with a new grille, bringing a more modern look. Inside the car, Hyundai can equip an LCD screen behind the steering wheel and an 8-inch central screen capable of connecting to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The Grand i10 in Vietnam uses a 1.2-liter Kappa engine with 83 horsepower and 114 Nm of maximum torque, paired with a 4-speed automatic or 5-speed manual transmission. The new version will likely retain this engine, but will have improvements in technology and design.

MG, a British car brand, will introduce the MG4 EV electric car in Vietnam. In the Thai market, the MG4 EV is equipped with an electric motor located on the rear axle, with a maximum capacity of 170 horsepower and a maximum torque of 250Nm. The 51kWh battery allows the car to travel 425km after a full charge according to NEDC standards. The car supports both 6.6kW AC slow charging and 88kW DC fast charging, with a fast charging time from 10 to 80% in just 35 minutes.
Chinese automaker BYD is also about to launch 6 models, including Atto 3, Seal, Dolphin, Han, Tang and Song. Of which, BYD Atto 3, Seal and Dolphin are pure electric cars. The remaining 3 models Han, Tang and Song have both pure electric and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) versions.
Of the 6 models mentioned above, the most notable are probably the trio BYD Atto 3, Seal and Dolphin. Currently, all 3 of these electric car models are officially sold in the Thai market and have quite high sales.
