(NLDO) - The martyrs were buried at martyr cemeteries in Binh Thuan, Binh Duong, Dong Nai provinces and local cemeteries.

On the morning of December 8, at the Southern National Funeral Home (Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City), the funeral of 12 martyrs who died during a drill mission on December 2, 2024 took place. Representatives of leaders of central and local agencies, inside and outside the military, came to pay their respects to the martyrs.

Here, Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang, Commander of Military Region 7, Lieutenant General Tran Hoai Trung, Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Military Region 7, on behalf of the Party and State, presented the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal and the Certificate of Merit from the Fatherland; Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, presented the Brave Youth Badge to representatives of 12 families of martyrs.

Ho Chi Minh City leaders visit the funeral of martyrs

The memorial service and funeral will take place at 11am the same day. Afterwards, the martyrs will be buried at martyr cemeteries in Binh Thuan, Binh Duong, Dong Nai provinces and other local cemeteries.
