In addition, the program also recreates the "Farewell to the Old and Welcome to the New" ritual to see off the old year and welcome the new year, with traditional rituals such as: Calendar promotion ceremony, Carp release ceremony to see off the Kitchen Gods, Pole raising ceremony and Changing of the Guards ceremony.

In particular, the Spring Opening ceremony will be held on January 9 with a solemn incense offering ceremony, looking back to the origin to pay tribute to the merits of the previous emperors and honor traditional values.

Visiting Thang Long Imperial Citadel on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025, visitors also have the opportunity to enjoy the unique water puppet show on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th days of Tet.

The central area of ​​Thang Long Imperial Citadel is also decorated with many unique flowers and ornamental plants to serve the check-in needs of visitors.
