Bridges "Connecting the shores of joy" to the people of Central Vietnam

(Dan sinh) - On October 5-6, the Vietnam Real Estate Club held the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremony for many more charity bridges in the Central provinces.

On October 6, the Vietnam Real Estate Club (VREC) held the inauguration ceremony of Do Xuan bridge in Hoai Nhon town, Binh Dinh province and built more bridges in rural areas, contributing to the completion and meeting the travel and trade needs of people in the region, ensuring traffic safety and also making an important contribution to creating momentum to promote socio-economic development.

Do Xuan Bridge is designed to be 15m long, 4m wide, and has a load capacity of 3.5 tons. The bridge is located in Tam Quan Nam Ward (Hoai Nhon Town, Binh Dinh Province). After completion, the bridge will serve the travel needs of 300 households in the area.

Local people in Tam Quan Nam ward, Hoai Nhon town excitedly shared: "When receiving the news and directly attending the inauguration ceremony of Do Xuan Bridge, many people here were very excited. The bridge not only connects the two banks but also helps students get to school faster and more safely, making travel and livelihood of people in the commune much more convenient."

Also on this occasion, Mr. Truong Hoa Binh, former member of the Politburo, former Permanent Deputy Prime Minister of the Government and sponsors came to inspect and hand over charity houses to Mrs. Phan Thi Thoai in Tang Long 2 Quarter and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Cuc in Trung Hoa Quarter, both in Tam Quan Nam Ward, each house received support of 50 million VND.

Previously, on October 5, VREC held the groundbreaking ceremony for two charity bridges in Thua Thien Hue and Quang Ngai provinces with a total cost of 2 billion VND.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Bao, Chairman of VREC shared that the charity bridge building activity is a passionate program of VREC with the motto "Connecting happy shores".

"We understand that only when communication and transportation are convenient can trade develop, people can travel with peace of mind, and children can go to school safely. The bridge not only connects the two banks but also helps students get to school faster and more safely, making travel and livelihoods for people in the commune much more convenient," Mr. Bao emphasized.

The charity program to build 100 bridges for people, led by comrade Truong Hoa Binh, former Politburo member, former Permanent Deputy Prime Minister of the Government, in collaboration with VREC and the General Secretary, will be implemented at the end of 2022 and completed in 2023.

Up to now, the program to build more than 80 rural bridges from the Club's charity bridge building fund is part of a series of charity programs to build 100 community bridges worth from 500 million to 3 billion VND each.
