Seeing Indonesian star play so well against Man Utd, all of Southeast Asia is worried

Most recently, Indonesia has successfully naturalized two players, Mees Hilgers (FC Twente) and Eliano Reijnders (PEC Zwolle). Both have a Dutch father and an Indonesian mother. Mees Hilgers was born in 2001 and is 1.85m tall. This player is valued at 7 million euros, which is more than the entire Vietnamese team combined. Mees Hilgers also showed his class when he locked down Man Utd strikers such as Joshua Zirkzee, Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes.

According to statistics from the UEFA homepage, Mees Hilgers had 4 successful disputes, 1 successful tackle and made 45/49 passes (92% accuracy).

With this excellent performance, Mees Hilgers received praise from both the Dutch and Indonesian media. For his part, the midfielder born in 2001 said: "This was a great match. We will never forget it. The whole team worked hard and proved that we deserve to be in the Europa League and will show our best qualities."

With the successful recruitment of Mees Hilgers, Indonesia has shown that they can absolutely aim to attract stars of European level (instead of lower leagues) to join the team. The team from the archipelago is becoming more and more fearsome.
