Alianza president Pedro Hernandez, two club directors and two Estadio Cuscatlan officials have been arrested and charged with manslaughter, the prosecutor's office said.

In addition, they will be investigated for possible criminal liability for the consequences suffered by the trampled victim and for causing public disorder.
Previously, during the match between Alianza and FAS on May 20 at Estadio Cuscatlan stadium, a stampede occurred, killing 12 people.
The initial cause is believed to be due to many people trying to push and shove at the entrance to the yard, causing a gate to collapse. People present panicked and began to jostle and push each other.
"From the investigations carried out, it appears that the stadium's emergency exits were not sufficient for the number of fans to leave safely," the prosecutor's office wrote on Twitter.
About 500 people were treated for various injuries at the scene, while 88 were hospitalized, AFP reported.
On May 24, the El Salvador Football Federation (Fesfut) said that the Liga Mayor tournament would be canceled due to safety concerns.
The tournament had reached the quarter-finals by the time it was cancelled.
Fesfut had previously forced Alianza to play home games without spectators for a year. Alianza was also ordered to pay a $30,000 fine by July 21.
