MTA Hanoi 2024 Exhibition attracts the participation of more than 90 exhibitors from more than 13 countries and territories, including: Taiwan (China), Germany, Korea, USA, Hong Kong (China), Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Switzerland, China and Vietnam.
With an exhibition area of 4,000 m2, the Exhibition is expected to attract more than 6,000 professional visitors. Notably, the majority of visitors are business owners, members, management boards and senior experts with decision-making power or voice in the business.
Taking place over 3 days, MTA Hanoi 2024 not only creates conditions for manufacturers to promote their new products and technologies, but also helps businesses find the most optimal technical solutions for their current production lines.
MTA Hanoi 2024 will introduce to the manufacturing and processing community in the North thousands of advanced technologies and solutions, serving the needs of investment in equipment and machinery to improve the productivity of industrial parks in Hanoi and neighboring provinces.
The categories on display at MTA Hanoi 2024 focus on metal/sheet metal cutting machines; metal forming machines; molds, casting molds; prototyping systems and software; surface treatment and heat treatment technology; welding technology; automation technology and many other auxiliary equipment and systems.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of MTA Hanoi 2024 on October 2, Mr. William Lim - Brand Director of Informa Markets Vietnam Company said that MTA Hanoi aims to continue to be one of the main driving forces of Vietnam's manufacturing industry; introducing new and suitable technologies in the precision engineering and manufacturing industry to improve capacity and promote production to meet the increasing demand for equipment and machinery in industrial parks in Hanoi and the northern provinces of Vietnam.
This year, MTA Hanoi continues to bring the automation exhibition area called VINRA (Vietnam Industrial Robotics and Automation Event) to the Northern market. VINRA debuted at MTA Vietnam 2023 and received a strong response from the automation business community. Here, advanced automation technologies from many leading enterprises will display the latest automation technologies on the market.

The exhibition also opens up opportunities for personnel working in the mechanical field to update the latest trends in the industry, through a series of seminars led by leading experts. Outstanding seminar programs at the exhibition include the seminar "Innovative approach: Smart and sustainable production towards Net-Zero goals"; Seminar "Developing the supply chain of Vietnam's mechanical industry in the context of globalization"; Workshop “ODM Capacity Building: The Key to a Competitive and High-Value Manufacturing Outsourcing Model” held.
The semiconductor industry ecosystem is also rising strongly, attracting investment from many large corporations in the international semiconductor industry. Specifically, in October 2023, Amkor Technology - a large semiconductor industry corporation headquartered in Arizona (USA) inaugurated a factory in Bac Ninh with a total investment of 1.6 billion USD.
Samsung is also taking the lead in mass producing semiconductor chip grid products at the Samsung Electro-Mechanics Vietnam factory in Thai Nguyen. Hana Micron Vina (Korea) has inaugurated a semiconductor factory project in Van Trung Industrial Park (Bac Giang) with a total investment of nearly 600 million USD.
Many other giants in the semiconductor industry such as BE Semiconductor Industries NV (Netherlands), Hanmi Semiconductor (Korea), Infineon Technologies AG (Germany), Victory Giant Technology (China), Synopsys (California, USA) have also started plans to build and invest in chip manufacturing plants in our country. In Vietnam, FPT Semiconductor, VHT (Viettel) and VNChip Technology have begun to pioneer in chip manufacturing stages such as design, production or testing, packaging.
MTA Hanoi is expected to directly or indirectly support the provision of advanced technology for the traditional mechanical, processing and manufacturing industries as well as promising young manufacturing fields such as semiconductors.
According to Statista's forecast, in the period 2024 - 2029, the semiconductor industry's revenue is expected to have a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11.48%, bringing a market value of 31.39 billion USD in 2029, making Vietnam one of the important production centers of many global semiconductor enterprises. |
