This September, Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant (Ha Tinh Oil and Gas Power Company) aims to produce 376 million kWh of electricity and pay 1 billion VND to the State budget.
Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant has 2 units, each unit has a capacity of 600 MW.
After many efforts to overcome the problem, on August 12, 2023, Unit 1 of Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant (Ky Loi Commune, Ky Anh Town) was officially connected to the national grid after nearly 2 years of temporary shutdown.
According to the leader of Ha Tinh Oil and Gas Power Company, putting Unit 1 back into operation is of great significance in ensuring national energy security, serving the development of the country's economy and is expected to create growth in production and business for enterprises.
Accordingly, this September, Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant aims to produce 376 million kWh of electricity, achieving revenue of 774.8 billion VND.
Thereby, increasing the electricity output produced by the plant in the first 9 months of 2023 to about 3,135.9 million kWh, revenue of about 6,040.8 billion VND, contributing 70.2 billion VND to the State budget.
In the last months of the year, Ha Tinh Oil and Gas Power Company continues to focus on safely and effectively operating the plant's 2 units; striving to complete the production and business plan assigned by Vietnam Oil and Gas Power Corporation.
