Mr. Nguyen Sinh - Secretary of the Party Committee of Cua Dai Ward said that the Party Committee of the ward organized a thematic meeting on the work "Building and developing a comprehensive and modern Vietnamese foreign affairs and diplomacy imbued with the identity of Vietnamese bamboo" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

This helps cadres and party members deeply understand the core content of the work, the Party's foreign policy and guidelines. This activity also creates unity in the political system on the Party's foreign policy and guidelines; arouses pride and trust in the Party's leadership.

According to Plan No. 179 dated June 14, 2024 of the Standing Committee of the Hoi An City Party Committee, Party committees at all levels are required to include the introduction of works in the reporter conferences, monthly Party committee activities, Party cell activities, and thematic activities in agencies, units, Party organizations, and unions; increase the organization of seminars, talks, and contests to learn about the themes and content of the works.

By the end of July 2024, grassroots party organizations will complete the implementation of activities. At the same time, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee also emphasized that this is a regular, long-term political task, focusing on the anniversaries of major national holidays and important political and foreign affairs events.

Ms. Tran Thi Thu Hoa - Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of Hoi An City Party Committee said that the unit has guided grassroots party organizations to organize extensive political and ideological activities at the grassroots level; provided study and research materials on the work to party cells.

“In the coming time, the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department will continue to monitor and inspect grassroots party organizations in implementing political activities in accordance with the direction of the City Party Committee's Standing Committee on regularly and continuously grasping and studying the work.

At the same time, coordinate with the Department of Education and Training of Hoi An City to include the content of studying the work in the 2024 summer political training program for cadres, teachers and staff of preschools, primary schools and secondary schools in the city" - Ms. Hoa said.

To widely promote the work of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, the Standing Committee of Hoi An City Party Committee also requested grassroots party organizations to direct local information and propaganda forces and units to widely promote the content of the work.

Strengthen the fight, refute, and raise vigilance against hostile plots and distorted information about Vietnam's foreign policies and guidelines by reactionary and opportunistic subjects and forces, especially in cyberspace.

The City People's Committee directed the city's specialized agencies to promote the works of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in diverse and appropriate forms.

Further strengthen foreign information, introduce and disseminate positive assessments of politicians, scholars and international experts to propagate and disseminate the content of the work; Vietnam's foreign achievements in nearly 40 years of implementing the renovation policy and the term of the 13th National Party Congress, Resolution of the 22nd Provincial Party Congress, Resolution of the 18th Hoi An City Party Congress.

The book "Building and developing a comprehensive, modern Vietnamese foreign policy and diplomacy imbued with the Vietnamese bamboo identity" selects a number of typical speeches, articles, addresses, interviews, letters, telegrams... of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, expressing the consistent and thorough thinking of the head of our Party on Vietnam's foreign policy and diplomacy in the new period.

The book consists of 3 parts; of which part 1: The important role and great contribution of foreign affairs in the cause of national construction and defense; includes an overview article and 7 speeches by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the Party Central Committee conferences, diplomatic conferences, and national foreign affairs conferences.

Part 2: Vietnam's foreign relations for independence, self-reliance, peace, friendship, cooperation and development, including 78 speeches, articles, addresses, interviews, letters, telegrams... of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at bilateral and multilateral diplomatic activities and forums, demonstrating close and flexible coordination between foreign affairs pillars including Party diplomacy, State diplomacy and people-to-people diplomacy.

Part 3: Foreign affairs and diplomatic imprints includes 52 opinions of experts, politicians, diplomats, researchers, and international friends on the role and contributions of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in the formation and development of a comprehensive, modern Vietnamese diplomatic school, imbued with the identity of "Vietnamese bamboo".
