Japan-Saudi Arabia sign MoU on strategic dialogue

According to the official news agency SPA , the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on strategic dialogue between the Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia and Japan, aiming to strengthen cooperation in many fields, meeting the aspirations of the two countries.

The two Ministers chaired the first meeting of the Strategic Dialogue, during which they discussed the strong bilateral relationship and the importance of continued coordination between the two sides.

The two sides also considered measures to enhance cooperation in political fields and bilateral and multilateral coordination for the interests of the two countries and their peoples.

Also discussed was Tokyo's decision to issue multiple-entry visas to Saudi Arabian citizens who meet certain financial requirements.

The two Ministers also discussed joint projects to achieve the vision of turning the Middle East into a global hub for clean energy and critical minerals; agreed to continue efforts to maintain peace and stability in the Indian Ocean and the Pacific.

Foreign Minister Hayashi Yoshimasa stated that Japan highly values ​​its strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia.
