In mid-September, designer Phan Dang Hoang will bring his new Ceramics collection to show at Milan Fashion Week Spring Summer 2025.
The program is scheduled to take place at the Royal Palace of Milan, Italy - a place closely associated with the city's development history, marking a major turning point in the career of the young man born in 2000.
Ceramics includes 40 designs inspired by Nguyen Phan Chanh's silk paintings and ceramic art, recreating the image of Vietnamese women 100 years ago with a modern, creative perspective.
Instead of the familiar elegant style, the collection leans towards street fashion with a bit of personality and rebellion.
"My works are often inspired by Vietnamese artists or Vietnamese materials such as ceramics, culture, sculpture, architecture... Every time I appear, I always aspire to make a distinct mark. Being present at one of the world's most prestigious fashion weeks, standing alongside fashion houses with hundreds of years of history, is a dream come true for me," said Phan Dang Hoang.
Recently, 10X worked online with a foreign crew and encountered difficulties in getting permission to organize a program at a local historical site.
Regarding development orientation, Phan Dang Hoang wishes to be recognized for his ability objectively instead of through tricks and relationships. Therefore, he chose to develop from studying and working seriously.
"When I announced the information about organizing a fashion show in Italy, the audience did not know who Phan Dang Hoang was, where he came from, what his relationships were... so they would judge directly based on the quality of his artistic creation," he said.
Phan Dang Hoang was born in 2000 and graduated from Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (Milan, Italy). In 2022, he participated in Afro Fall Winter Fashion Week, his collection was introduced by Vogue Italy.
In 2023, Phan Dang Hoang attracted attention when he brought the Sculpture collection to show at Milan Fashion Week. He met Anna Wintour 3 times and presented his personal collection in 1 minute before "The most powerful lady in the fashion industry".
Last May, 10X was named in the list of 30 Under 30 Asia 30 (Most influential artists under 30 years old in Asia) by Forbes Magazine's The Arts .
