The latest real estate consumer sentiment report just released measured the feelings and expectations of more than 1,000 people about the market outlook for the second half of 2023.
Accordingly, the leading factor causing investors to lose customer confidence is poor construction quality and management in old projects (60%), followed by slow handover progress (58%).
Meanwhile, the three factors buyers pay most attention to when choosing an investor are financial potential (57%), reputation (45%) and sales policy (43%).
In addition, a segment of real estate seekers have more stringent requirements. Specifically, 30% of survey participants confirmed that they are interested in whether the investor has a green or sustainable construction certificate, 20% said that they evaluate the stature and capacity of the investor through the certificates and awards that the unit has achieved. About 19% of respondents said that the lack of awards and certificates is a factor that makes buyers lose confidence in the investor.
