People surrounded and arrested a man who brought fake gold to pawn in Dong Nai.

(Dan Tri) - Carrying a fake gold necklace to pawn for 80 million VND, the man was discovered by the gold shop owner and ran away, but was surrounded and caught by the people.

On March 8, Bac Son Commune Police, Trang Bom District (Dong Nai) filed a case against Hoang Van Bang (40 years old, from Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) for fraud and property appropriation.

Previously, on the afternoon of March 4, Bang and his accomplices rode a motorbike carrying a fake gold necklace to the QBT jewelry store in Phu Son hamlet, Bac Son commune (Trang Bom district, Dong Nai ) to pawn it.

When dealing with the jewelry store owner, Bang wanted to pawn the necklace for 80 million VND. After checking, the store owner discovered that the necklace was fake gold, so Bang and his accomplices immediately ran away.

However, when hearing the gold shop owner shouting, the people around chased after him, caught Bang and handed him over to the police.
