Mr. Nguyen Huu An, Deputy Head of the Department of Tourism Resource Development Planning, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism also shared that Ho Chi Minh City currently has 47 tour programs, packages, and waterway products of 18 tourism businesses providing water transport services.

According to Mr. An, District 7, connected to the Ngoi Sao Viet wharf, will be oriented as the central wharf area. From there, waterway tourism routes departing from this wharf such as the inland waterway route, the route to Nha Be, the route to Can Giuoc, Can Gio, the route connecting to Dong Nai via golf tour are very convenient when traveling by high-speed canoe, taking about 25 minutes.

Responding to Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Week 2023, the City Department of Tourism introduced 17 waterway tourism products, including 7 regular waterway tourism products and 10 new waterway tourism products.

Of the 17 routes, there are 4 mid-range waterway tourism routes departing from Ho Chi Minh City to Binh Duong and Dong Nai with routes passing through golf courses with the goal of serving golf tourism.

The average price of waterway tours is from 2 million VND or more, the Nhieu Loc - Thi Nghe canal sunset tour alone costs 250,000 VND.
