Man dies while playing Pickleball

According to initial information, earlier, on the afternoon of April 23, Mr. N.D and a group of friends played Pickleball at a sports field in Ha Tinh city.

However, while playing on the field, at about 5:25 p.m. the same day, Mr. N.D suddenly collapsed and lay unconscious in the middle of the field.

The victim was then quickly taken to Ha Tinh General Hospital for emergency treatment but did not survive.

According to information from Ha Tinh General Hospital, when the hospital received the male patient N.D., it was determined that he had suffered cardiac arrest before being transferred to the hospital. Previously, the patient had been diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

It is known that Mr. N.D regularly exercises and used to play badminton.

Before the incident, in recent days, Ha Tinh city has had very hot weather for a long time, with high temperatures ranging from 35 - 37 degrees Celsius.
