On May 15, under the chairmanship of comrade Do Trong Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, the meeting of the Provincial Party Standing Committee continued its second working day to give opinions on the Report on the Project of Planning for preservation, restoration and rehabilitation of the historical relic, national scenic spot of Ba Trieu uprising site (including Nua Mountain, Nua Temple, Am Tien) for the period 2023-2035, with a vision to 2045 and some other important contents.

According to the report of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee: The project of planning for preservation, restoration and rehabilitation of historical relics and national scenic spots of Ba Trieu uprising site (including Nua Mountain, Nua Temple, Am Tien) for the period of 2023 - 2035, with a vision to 2045, with the goal of protecting the original elements of the relic, thereby preserving, embellishing and promoting the value of historical relics and national scenic spots of Ba Trieu uprising site to become a valuable tourist attraction, contributing to the socio-economic development of the region. Forming an ecological, cultural and spiritual tourism area to meet the sightseeing, resting and entertainment needs of local people and domestic and foreign tourists; making this place a destination for tourism in Thanh Hoa and Vietnam. The scope of the planning study includes the entire area of communes and towns including: Nua Town (2,120 ha), Trieu Son District; Tan Tho commune (513 ha), Tan Khang commune (1,092 ha), Nong Cong district; Mau Lam commune (4,272 ha), Nhu Thanh district. Total area is about 7,997 ha.
The planning project also analyzed and evaluated the current status of the relic and land belonging to the relic; factors of the natural and social environment affecting the relic; orientation for preservation, restoration and rehabilitation of the relic; orientation for planning the conservation space, promoting the value of the relic; human resource training, renovation and construction of technical infrastructure...

Giving their opinions on the project, the members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee highlighted the value of the historical relic and national scenic spot of the Ba Trieu uprising and said that planning is necessary. However, careful research is needed to promote the spiritual tourism complex, especially attracting tourists to Nua Mountain - one of the three vital points of the country.

In his concluding remarks, Provincial Party Secretary Do Trong Hung highly appreciated the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee for their efforts in developing the project and the comments and contributions to the project. He suggested that the title of the project should be revised to: Project for planning the conservation, restoration, embellishment and promotion of the value of the historical relic, national scenic spot of Ba Trieu uprising (including Nua Mountain, Nua Temple, Am Tien) for the period 2023-2035, with a vision to 2045.

Regarding the objectives of the Project, Provincial Party Secretary Do Trong Hung suggested that when building the Project, it is necessary to determine the objective of developing the historical relic, national scenic spot of Ba Trieu uprising site into a tourism, cultural, spiritual center, combined with ecological and humanistic tourism to meet the high demand of domestic and foreign tourists for worship, sightseeing, relaxation, entertainment. Making this place a special destination of Thanh Hoa and Vietnam tourism for domestic and international friends.
Based on the opinions expressed at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Do Trong Hung requested the Provincial People's Committee to direct the consulting unit to supplement the orientation of promoting the value of relics associated with sustainable tourism development; clearly analyze the connection of infrastructure and transportation; have access to promote the traditional cultural values of Thanh land and research and build in the Project the development of the film studio cultural industry; build a Thanh land culinary center. At the same time, in the Project, it is necessary to research the connection of tours and tourist routes, pay attention to training human resources in tourism... The Provincial Party Secretary assigned the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to direct relevant agencies to complete the Project and submit it to competent authorities for approval according to regulations.
Also at the conference, the Provincial Party Standing Committee gave opinions on the 1/2000 scale zoning plan for areas under the Thanh Hoa urban master plan, Thanh Hoa province and some other important contents.
